I’ve just finished the first of a new series of short novels for children/young people based in Cornwall. It revolves around Mel, a pre-teen (though she will grow up with the series), and a Cornish pony named Piskie.

I’ve withdrawn the self-published Bells of St Martin, which I decided was too long, and the second half not developed enough. I’m now rewriting this as two novels: St Martin’s Summer, which is very similar to the first 29 chapters of Bells, and You Owe Me Five Farthings, which will have the same trajectory but include a new mystery for Jeremy to solve – a stolen book this time.
